Hey everybody! I'm going to attend HCC this fall as a freshman, and I was curious about which professors are the best/worst/easiest/hardest. I'd really appreciate some feedback. :) Thanks!

Join commcolleges!

I'm trying to unite community college students across the country in one community so we can share advice, give support, and talk about community colleges in general. Please join commcolleges if you'd like!

(My apologies if this is not permitted. Since it's so related to the community's topic, I figured it would be fine.)

housing?

I'm starting a Housatonic at the end of the month. My living situation is currently in upheaval. I need a room or an apartment to rent that's cheap. And I need it by the end of this week. If anyone knows of anyone looking for a roommate or would be willing to let a nice girl (me) stay with them for a month while I get things sorted out, please let me know. Thanks so much for your help.

textbook prices

Its me again.
I am doing a story about a study the state did on the cost of college textbooks. If anyone would like to chime in and tell me: how much do they spend in a semester for college texts, if they think they get a fair buyback price, or if they found a better/cheaper way to get books, heres your chance. I also want to know if you think your professors generally know how much the textbooks they assign cost. Please include your name, hometown, year in school and major in your response if you want to be quoted. My story will appear in the Connecticut Post within the next couple of days. thanks much.

Hey everyone. I am Danielle, 19 and registered at here.
I have not actually taken any classes yet this school year. I am looking for some general classes to take because I am not 100% sure what I was to get my associates in, I am thinking Nursing, but I am still not 100%.

What are the good programs here, and what are some over all just cool classes that I can take?
